SOA Stack for REST and WS-* Comparison
From NeoWiki

Things rise up... again, via the latest Tim Bray interview by OSCON, says:
- "The SOAP stack is generally regarded as an embarrassing failure these days,... REST does what the SOAP stack was trying to do in a much more viable, elegant, cheap, affordable way except that we've got no tooling around it yet."
A flame war fired on the SOA Yahoo! group. Gervas Douglas suggests a full stack comparison to remove misunderstandings between two races of this war, and Alan J.D. volunteered the nice diagram above for that. BTW, both SOA RM and OSI model have been risen for the comparison, and this diagram is more likely on the SOA side.
Gervas Douglas has built a wiki topic for that comparison, let's wait and see.
