很多人认识Blondie都是通过这首1998年的热门电影”There’s Something About Mary (1998)“插曲”Maria”吧，这个队名的来源——主唱Deborah Harry在这首歌的MTV中出现时吓了我一跳，居然还像70年代Blondie大红大紫的时候一样的明艳照人啊(要知道在70年代这个金发女郎可是有这和Marilyn Monroe一样的性感号召力的)。。。不过岁月的威力是任何凡人无法抵挡的，Deborah的嗓音明显要“苍劲”的多了，但是这一点恰恰有别于当时泛滥的Mariah Carey/Cellin Dion之流形成了鲜明的对比，尤其是对于没有听过Blondie、Petti Smith这些朋克女声的90年代人来说真是不同寻常。这首歌的歌词也很有意思，值得好好品味。。。
